Hi Robert - Again thanks for making our reunion happen.  I have bee receiving phone calls all day thanking us for organizing it and encouraging us to have another one next summer.  Everyone was very excited about the newspaper article as well.  I scanned it and have attached it below.  I have also ordered some of the pictures that the photographer took at the dance.  Unfortunately he didn't have one saved of the chief but I have a family picture of us with the chief and have attached it as well.  I had to send you the web version of the picture since the actual version was too large for your server.  As soon as I get the other pictures, I will send copies to you.

Hi Bob,

I want to thank you again for the lovely day on Saturday.  It was truly a memorable experience.  I picked up the Windsor Star yesterday and there is a great picture of you holding your book and a nice article with it.  If you like I can mail it to you.  Anyway, thanks again for all of your hard work, and I look forward to the next one!  Say hello to Sue for me. Take care and I will talk with you soon.

Sincerely,
Laura

Hi everyone - I talked to Robert Jeffrey Urquhart and he wanted to let you all know that the Urquhart website is now updated to include a link to the James Urquhart of the River Thames branch.  Take a look, it is really great, a nice historical backgroud, lists of ancestors and lots of pictures from the reunion and much more. Click here.

I told him that some of those who attended the reunion called Brian and I to thank us for helping with the organization of the event and he was very pleased.  He would like to receive feedback via email from those who did attend, please send your comments to him at senachie@verizon.net.

If you have any pictures from that day, can you please send copies to Bob as well?  I sent him the Windsor Star article as well as the pictures that we took.

I have talked to Dorothy Provost and Bob Bechard about the reunion for Summer 2006.  We are looking seriously at the park at Mitchell's Bay for a picnic style reunion where all the kids and grandkids can join us.  Let me know what you think about that idea.

Talk to you again as things develop.  Hope you all enjoy the rest of the summer!!

Hi Robert - the changes to the webpage are great.  We love the new link to the branch of James Urquhart of the River Thames.  It makes us very proud to have such a large family of descendants.  The more I read the book, the more amazed I am that so many peoples lives depended on this early pioneer to Canada.  I am sure that we will be able to locate his roots.  It is a project that Brian and I will be taking very seriously this winter.

Thanks again for all your hard work on the book and the web site.
